Tu peux mettre le V6 de tout Fiero. Si tu remplaces seulement le bloque, ceux des 88 ne seraient pas 100% compatible
Mais tant qu'à faire, tu peux mettre un 3.4 de Camaro/Firebird 93-95. Le seul changement à y faire est de percer pour installer le démarreur de l'autre coté. Tout ce qui se trouve sur le 2.8 est "bolt-on" sur ce 3.4, même l'ordinateur est 100% compatible. Facile et performant.
Les 2.8 de plusieurs traction avant font aussi en remplaçant les exhaust manifolds, intake et système d'injection ou autre (info tirée du FIERO PARTS INTERCHANGE MANUAL) :
