Dear Pontiac Fiero Clubs and Vendors,
 
The Michigan Fiero Club is proud to announce that it will be hosting the Fiero 25th Anniversary Show.  We consider this to be the kick-off event to celebrate the 25th Anniversary for a year long celebration at all of the Fiero shows in the 12 months that follow the show.  The event is planned for Thursday July 24, 2008 thru Sunday July 27, 2008.  We’ll be returning to the Marriott at Centerpoint in Pontiac, Michigan.  This is the same hotel that the 20th Anniversary was held at and located in the city where Pontiac Excitement was built.
 
We are anticipating having a very memorable event and want to make sure that all Fiero clubs are represented in this endeavor.  The Michigan Fiero Club will be hosting the car show, Saturday July 26, 2008 and the banquet (Fiero Family Reunion) that will take place that same evening.  We are also looking into a tour of the GM Heritage Center, GM World Headquarters and the Automotive Hall of Fame for the event.  The GM Heritage Center is a venue that is not open to the general public and is GM’s collection of prototype, rare and special vehicles.  This tour should be one of the highlights of the event.
 
To make this as memorable as the 20th  (400+ Fieros!) we are asking your club to sponsor and run an event during the 4 day weekend.  We are open to all kinds of activities, and it is very possible that we will have multiple events going on at the same time.  A few examples are tech sessions, engine tuning, seat replacement, headlight repair, off site track events, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, guest speakers, banners, trophies or anything Fiero related.  If you need assistance doing ground work here locally, we would be glad to assist.  Events that are planned and sponsored by your club will be the full responsibility of your club.
 
We are working closely with the Marriott to provide convenient parking for vehicles hauling trailers and we will not have drive-thru judging lanes due to the heavy congestion we experienced at the 20th. 
 
We are in the planning stages for the events surrounding the 25th.  Our goal is to have a fun filled weekend for all Fiero owners.  We would like all Fiero Clubs to participate in some way to be a part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration.  Please direct replies to Show chairpersons Mark Duford, Barb Hack and Ron Treichel.

C'est l'occasion de voir environ 400 Fieros réunis...
De plus les organisateurs semblent avoir appris des erreurs du 20th.. Du moins j'espere..
Un peu plus d'activité organisé , pas de concours "drive thru" comme la derniere fois.
Bref ils ont pris de l'expérience et c'est tant mieux. Après tout, c'est pas tous les jours que l'ont fait un meeting de 400 voitures..

Moi un 3400 ....si c'est prêt. Je ne me suis pas donné d'échéancié précis même si je me donnais 2 ans (compte à rebour commencé le printemps passé). Elle sera prête lorsqu'elle sera prête. Doit avoir l'air presque neuve...en dedans comme en dehors, comme sous le capot, comme en dessous.

Le 23 Juillet est maintenant disponible au taux spécial du "fiero aniversary" de $109.00 U/S + les taxes PAR JOUR
Si vous planifiez faire votre réservation « check-in » le 23 juillet (et avant), ou, votre « check-out » le 29 juillet (et après), le rabais offert par le taux du "Fiero aniversary" ne seras PAS appliqué pour ces journées supplémentaires et un taux de $189.00 U/S + taxes sera appliqué POUR CES JOURNÉES SUPPLÉMENTAIRES.


Lorsque je me suis informé au Marriot pour le taux de CAA, ils m'ont dit que c'étais $208.00 U/S + les taxes PAR JOUR   
Un des membres du club m’a dit que vous pouvez effectuer des économies supplémentaires si  vous êtes membre de CAA. Le taux pour les membres de CAA est de $98.00 U/S + les taxes PAR JOUR, soit $11.00 U/S + les taxes par jour d’économies

You can book "check-in" the 24th 23rd up to "check-out" the 28th at the "fiero aniversary" rate of $109.00 U/S plus taxes PER NIGHT.

You can now check-in on the 23rd at the "fiero aniversary" rate of $109.00 U/S plus taxes PER NIGHT.
If you plan your check-in on the 23rd or your check-out on the 29th, the "Fiero aniversary" discounted  rate no longer applies and the room cost goes up to $189.00 U/S plus taxes PER NIGHT for those nights.

Whe I enquired at the Marriot about the CAA special rate, they quoted me $208.00 U/S + les taxes PER NIGHT   
One of the club member told me that you can get the rate down to $98.00 U/S + taxes PER NIGHT if you use you CAA membership status instead of the "Fiero Aniversary" special rate

Bonjour à tous
 
 En fin de semaine je suis allé voir ma maison au Michigan. J'ai quelques réparations de plomberie et pour le reste c'est très bien, je vais  être prêt pour le BBQ du      25 ième anniversaire de Fiero. J'ai rencontré de futurs Fiero drivers dans ma rue, je joins les photos.
